SIMPLE.DANCER off duty

Do szklanki mleka dodajemy pół łyżeczki kurkumy.

Have you gone through any cold or flu this season already? I was stuck in bed for a couple of days because of being cold last week. During the fall time in Poland the weather is changing rapidly. From being quite warm, it turns unexpectedly to be totally the opoposite! You really need to be careful to not to catch any virus. Unfortunately, it happens all the time. As I cannot be sick anymore, due to upcoming premieres of which one is already this Sunday, I decided I must take care of my health not only with common medicines, but also I need to set up some home treatment. Do you have any favourite ways of getting rid off the unwanted cold or flu? The most popular, tea with honey, raspberries and lemon I have already tried and it helped me in some way, but at the moment I am fond of something completely offbeat- turmeric milk!
The drink, based on almond milk, is prepared with a bit of this popular indian spice, lemon and orange fresh squizzed juices, honey and ginger. Basically everything you have probably heard of being good for autumn or winter time for our health condition, but mixed togather in different way. Turmeric makes the cholersterol and glucose level lower in your blood. It also highly reduces inflammation in the body. It may relieve any eventual stomachache because of its natural attributes. By adding citrus fruits and ginger, the drink contains a vitamin bomb so needed in these days. Taking it all together, plus honey, it helps our immunological system prevent from any malicious viruses!

Jedna porcja/one portion:
Szklanka mleka migdałowego/1 cup of almond milk
1/2 łyżeczki kurkumy/ 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
Wciśnięty sok z połówki cytryny i pomarańczy/squizzed juice form half of lemon nad Orange
Łyżeczka miodu/1 teaspoon of honey
Świeżo starty imbir/grated fresh ginger
